- Type I Collagen: This is the most abundant type of collagen in the body. It consists of eosinophilic fibers that make up body parts. Found in organs, ligaments, tendons, and skin, Type I Collagen supports bones, provides skin with tension and elasticity, helps hold tissues together, and aids in wound healing. It helps reduce wrinkles, increase flexibility, support bone mass, support the digestive system, and moisturize skin. It also helps repair weak or damaged nails and strengthen fine hair.
- Type II Collagen: 60% of the collagen that makes up joint cartilage consists of Type II Collagen. It helps manage age-related joint pain.
- Type III Collagen: It is a major component of the extracellular matrix that makes up our organs and skin.
- Hyaluronic Acid: It is found in many parts of the body. Hyaluronic Acid found in our bodies helps the skin appear plump and reduces the signs of aging.
- Vitamin C: It helps give skin tension and elasticity and holds tissues together.
- Biotin: It helps balance the amount of oil in the skin. Maintaining the skin is important to prevent skin problems. Regular use of biotin helps dilute the oil and distribute it throughout the skin.
